MN Lifetime Commitment to Rural Health Education Award
Every year the Minnesota Rural Health Awards are given to individuals and groups who have made a significant contribution to improving rural health in Minnesota. These awards are announced to coincide with Minnesota Rural Health Day.
Ray Christensen, MD is the recipients of this year’s National Rural Health Day’s Lifetime Commitment to Rural Health Education Award! He has served many leadership roles locally, regionally, statewide, and nationally and his lifelong goal is to increase the opportunities for medical students to learn medicine at rural sites.
