I believe in patient-centered care where my care of all patients is respectful, responsive and individualized based on that patient’s needs, values, and culture while ensuring that the individual patient’s values help guide the clinical decisions. Evidence based practice using the most up to date guidelines is important to me as I work with each patient and family in assisting them to learn and grow and have the best life possible within their health conditions. My goal is to focus on health promotion within the life span from infancy to geriatrics.

My home life includes enjoying a family of 4 adult children (and one son-in-law) and one grandchild (so far), traveling to see them as well as traveling for pleasure and education. I enjoy reading, walking, and exploring new places while meeting new people.
